Campaign Brief
Shell is always looking for the best talent, and they wanted their employee to assist them in this search. They were launching an Employee Referral Program (ERP), through which their team-members could not only refer their friends, and add to vibrant Shell community, but also could become eligible for rewards for successful referrals. They wanted this to be communicated through a campaign, which could prep them for the program launch and also attract participation.
The Approach
We created a campaign highlighting the past ERP Hero (ones who made successful referrals) and side-by-side featuring their respective referees (ones who got referred), and amplified their experiences through varied rich content.
Campaign Extension
A sustained Hum-Sing-Shout campaign approach could help in creating ERP ambassadors as well as drive mass ERP adoption. We also extended the campaign to accommodate year-long communications.
A multi-pronged sustained campaign would also aid to drive awareness, affinity and preference for Shell as an employer by communicating the relevant proof points and differentiators of the EVP to potential candidates and Shell employees at SBO locations.
